Training Opportunities
We understand that there are often many different barriers to starting or returning to work.
Derwentside Employment Team has been specially selected to help people within Derwentside achieve their ambitions.
We appreciate how hard it can be to find and sustain work; we work with people at their own pace, and work with them to help them to make choices to improve their lifestyle...this has been the key to our success.
So far almost 2000 people have come to Derwentside Employment Team for help finding and returning to work.
What’s even better is that over 950 of these local residents have actually changed their lives for the better and started work through the support and expertise of our newly formed Team.
We have listed below some useful contacts that relate to training opportunities, courses and careers advice.
