Description

This is a temporary 2 year contract which may become permanent. Must have at least 5 years experience with a HGV1 driving license and a clean Police record. Duties will be to operate and drive straight and articulated trucks, weighing over 4600kg with three or more axles, to transport goods and materials to destinations. Duties are also to oversee all aspects of vehicles, such as condition of equipment loading and unloading and safety and security of cargo. You will be required to pay a cost of $1339 (£729) on completion of the Alberta Class 1 driving license course. UK employment legislation does not extend outside the UK. Employment terms and conditions to be agreed before accepting work abroad. Successful applicant to ensure employer provides correct work permits/visa before entering a non-EU/EEA country to take up work.
